The best way to purchase a painting is to be in or visiting Vermont and come take a look at the studio. Because of the way I work, things can look more finished online than they are. The reverse is also true: an image with many thin layers can be difficult to photograph accurately. A painting, especially one I make, is forever, and really should match your personality. Having worked with digital images for a long time, they do seem to often leave something important of the feeling behind. But if you like something and can be patient, it's possible to purchase things long distance. However it often takes time: I work on them until they're done.
